Welcome to ORCA Year-Round Water Polo
The mission of ORCA WATER POLO is to develop young
players’ water polo skills so they may participate in high school and
collegiate water polo at levels commensurate with their fully developed
talents.
ORCA WATER POLO supports the notion of the scholar-athlete; individuals who excel in the classroom, in the swimming pool, in their communities, and in their families.
ORCA WATERPOLO seeks to
enhance and develop sportsmanship in athletes. Not only does our program
seek to be a winning program, but ORCA WATER POLO also wants to be
respected for having class.
How to Join
If you are interested in joining our program, come to our registration meeting the first day of the season or if our season is already in session, simply come by one of our practices to try it out and to find out more about our program. Interested athletes must be eight years or older and be proficient swimmers able to complete at least four lengths of the pool swimming freestyle.
Program Cost
ORCA age-group membership dues are $200 per season for 10u & 12u; $350 per season for 14u, and $250 per season for High School. Sibling discounts are offered at $50 off the second child, $100 off the third child and $150 off the fourth child. Each member must also register directly with US Water Polo at a cost of $55 per year.
ORCA High School membership dues vary depending on the season. Please check the main polo page of this website for seasonal high school information.
NOTE: ORCA's seasonal membership fee does not include the cost of tournaments, which will vary depending on the caliber of tournament. Tournament fees will be required for participating players. Information regarding tournament fees will be provided as the tournaments are scheduled throughout the season.
Payment Policy
Payments are due immediately and late two weeks after
your
start date. If payment is not received by the
end of the second week, there will be a $50.00 late fee. After the two week period, if ORCA has not received your
payment, the athlete(s) will also be removed from practice until payment is
received. Once the payments are received there is no refund for the
session.
