Aubrey Panis, ORCA Alumni and now Junior at USCD competed last week at the NCAA Division II Swimming Championships, where she helped the Triton women finish fourth in over-all team standings. Aubrey was a member of all of the Triton freestyle relays, where with her team leading best time of 23.26 in the 200 free relay and 1:52.50 in the 800 free relay helped the Triton women place second. Her team leading split of 51.44 in prelims and 52.23 in finals helped the Tritons finish 4th in the 400 free relay. In individual competition, Aubrey’s prelim time of 1:51.26 in the 200 freestyle got her into the finals of the event where she went 1:52.47 to finish 8th.  Aubrey also placed 11th in the 100 backstroke with a time of 57.52.  You can look forward to Aubrey helping our young swimmers with their strokes at our back and freestyle clinics coming up this summer.
