ORCA
Swims Long Course at
This was a meet of
firsts for many of the ORCA
“guppies” as well as for some of the older swimmers. Clarissa Hoyt (7),
Leanne Landers (8), Brooke Walker (9), and AJ Lemnitzer (8), were among
ORCA’s younger swimmers to experience a Long Course Meters (LCM) meet for
the first time. It was also the first Long Course meet for Daniel Herrera
(12), Chandler Montgomery (13), Kevin Johnson (13), and Jason Ly (13). An
interesting side bar; Jeff Lemnitzer, AJ’s dad, still holds swim records at
Golden West College in the Men’s 200 and 400 Free Relays. Yeah, ORCA dad!
AJ, the challenge is on!

Connor Regan (16) bettered Graydon Stanley’s 2009 record with a time of
2:37.66.
Female 7-8 100 meter Fly -
Madeline Harkey (8) established an ORCA record with a time of 1:48.

with two swimmers earning best times in all of their events.
Jason Dinh (9) and Danica
Lambert (16) both swam to best times in 6 out of 6 events.
