ORCA GOES FOR THE GOLD AT JO MAX CHAMPIONSHIPS

Takes 2nd Place Over-all Out of 11 Teams

 

At the JO Max Spring Championship meet this past weekend, 99 ORCA swimmers went into the water and returned with 322 best times, five new ORCA records, 169 Gold, Silver, or Bronze medals, and 46 new ORCA top five times. The stunning statistics are as follows:

ORCA placed 2nd out of eleven teams at the meet in front of AZOT, Golden West and STOP.  Winning the meet was Brea Aquatics.  Swimmers scored points for ORCA by placing 1st through 8th in the division in which they swam their events (WAG, Blue, Red, or White). There was a sea of ORCA caps in the lanes, which showed an outstanding effort from everyone and enabled ORCA to win second place from among all teams at the meet.  Congratulations to all who participated and especially to the top scoring swimmers.
